What’s the Future of Hollywood?

Round 3 of investing is now open!

Paul Scanlan, CEO and Co-Founder of Legion M.

We are here at Phoenix Comicon which feels a lot
like the surface of the Sun right now. We are introducing the world’s first fan-owned entertainment company.

This is the power of the social network. We can begin with a small
group of fans and grow that organically. We’ve also noticed that just by making
the announcement and having the creative allies getting behind us and rallying
together with us that we’ve already put a big dent in the industry, but we need to help grow the fan
base, get the Legion together.

Legion M logoOur logo is Legion M with the bar over it that bar over the M symbolizes the Roman numeral for 1 million. Our goal is 1 million fans can take over Hollywood together with a million fans.

We’re not asking for a lot of money. We don’t want anyone putting in their life-savings to become a Legionnaire.

We’re planning to have a slate of projects and we’ll have TV shows, and movies, and we have a VR project.

Let me share something with you..
I mean you know the reason that we’re doing this is because for the first time
in history the SEC is now allowing us – prior to this it wasn’t possible and really the the rules were
weighted in favor of the wealthy elite in our country and a big part of what’s
created this financial divide that we have – we’re fundamentally about helping to create more
awareness of the JOBS Act. The JOBS Act was something that Obama put forward through Congress three years ago (2013) to
start to reform our financial system, that’s been against the general population in favor of the wealthy elite.

I started a company, together with my co-founder, we started a company 16
years ago and we grew that to a billion-dollar valuation. We had very
much success, but our friends and family that believed in us and wanted to invest,
they weren’t allowed to make money with us. They weren’t rich enough to make money with us and it’s bull. That’s the
way the rules have been written, but now they’re being changed.
Finally Obama puts this bill forward, it’s passed almost unanimously by Congress and now this year (2016) is the first year that that it’s becoming law. For the first time in history we can go out and let the fans in, let them participate in the studio, the
creation of the studio, the creation of the next generation of content, but not just in a supportive fun way, but also in a financial way let them participate in the upside and the potential that this great content can help create for us.

Anyone that’s interested – if you want to learn more about it, you can go to TheLegionM.com
We’ve got all of the information about investing, etc. and I encourage you to do your background research. Look at our background, look at our creative allies who are we partnering with, what have we done before, etc. and you can also sign up there. You can sign up just to be notified and you can also, if you’re interested and you’re ready to make a commitment, you can make
an investment and come along and join the Legion and help us take over Hollywood.

This is the future of Hollywood – where fans get to go behind the gates!

Well-versed in the details of the never-to-be-forgotten and sadly never-to-be-repeated Bronze and Copper Age of Comic Books, but was an innocent bystander during the Chrome Age and accepts no responsibility for it, your Hometown Geek loves all things comic-book related from any era.

Although biased toward Apple products, your Hometown Geek doesn't feel like a Hipster. Fascinated by all the tech at hand in the world today and anxious to try out all different forms of new and old media, the Geek still has an incredible fondness for the old movies of the 1930s and 1940s and loves to fall asleep to TCM - Turner Classic Movies.
