A shocker today about Thrill Halloween which just barely went in a new direction this year.

Square Egg Entertainment prides itself on its commitment to the community and strives to produce the best events for its exhibitors, guests, and attendees. We are unhappy with the progress we have made as a company in producing Thrill Halloween and would rather cancel the event than offer something that is not up to our standards. Refunds will be issued.

“Producing a subpar event is not in alignment with our core values and mission statement.”
Company CEO and Founder, Matthew Solberg

As part of our continued efforts to include community feedback in the creation of our events, we are revising our plan for Phoenix Fan Fest to include programming and guest panels. Guest announcements begin today and updated programming information will be available soon.

Noooooooooooo….!Scream Mask

What do YOU think, fellow geeks?

We really appreciate that Square Egg striving for quality, but wonder what this means in the grand scheme of things after they endured such a striking blow at this year’s Phoenix Comicon when a gunman was arrested on the first day and increased security measures led to a lot of blowback from cosplay fans.

By day, your Hometown Geek is one of the partners at Making A Scene Productions, LLC and works hard at video production, web design, social media, and all things tech, but by night it's a never-ending battle for truth, justice, and the American Way.

Well-versed in the details of the never-to-be-forgotten and sadly never-to-be-repeated Bronze and Copper Age of Comic Books, but was an innocent bystander during the Chrome Age and accepts no responsibility for it, your Hometown Geek loves all things comic-book related from any era.

Although biased toward Apple products, your Hometown Geek doesn't feel like a Hipster. Fascinated by all the tech at hand in the world today and anxious to try out all different forms of new and old media, the Geek still has an incredible fondness for the old movies of the 1930s and 1940s and loves to fall asleep to TCM - Turner Classic Movies.
